CAT 2026 Correction Window: Closed on 6 October, and What to Do Now
The CAT 2026 correction window has closed. It ran from 10 AM on 5 October to 5 PM on 6 October, and IIM Indore is reported to have refused an extension. The form is now final: your photograph, signature and test city are whatever you saved, and your admit card on 4 November will be built from them.

If you missed it
It’s frustrating, but most people who missed it have a photo and signature that are fine and a test city they can live with. Here’s how to make sure of that rather than assume:
- Look at what’s saved. Log in at iimcat.ac.in and check your photograph, signature and city preferences. If they’re acceptable, there’s nothing to do.
- If the photo or signature is genuinely unusable (wrong person, unreadable, someone else’s signature), write to the CAT helpdesk now. The contact details are on iimcat.ac.in. Quote your registration number and keep a copy. There’s no guarantee of a fix, but a written record from October is better than a surprise on 4 November.
- If the city isn’t what you wanted, it can’t be changed now. IIM Indore allots the centre from your preferences, so use the next few weeks to plan the travel, not to hope.
- On 4 November, check the admit card the day it’s released: name, photo, signature, centre and slot. Carry it, with a photo ID, on 29 November.
